Colour giving Components:

Indigo The colour comes from the leaves of the plant by harvesting, drying and grounding them into powder form to get the dye for colouring. If grown organically, it is the most natural, safe and pure form of dyeing hair.

The leaves of Henna are abundant in a red-orange molecule called lawsone. Though the stain of henna leaves colour when applied on hair is red-orange, yet it is translucent, and so it combines with the natural colour of the hair.
