Our firm is looking for mining projects in the following commodities: coal, iron ore, manganese, copper We are not interested in grassroot or virgin projects, so there must be some previous work done on the properties and the project must also have the potential to be world class , for example, 400 million tonnes or more iron ore deposit, We would be open to either a Joint Venture or outright sale. If you have a suitable project we would gladly review the documentation. Our usual format is a Option Agreement which converts to a Joint Venture Agreement or Sale Agreement upon our firm having funded and satisfied the Option terms. In relation to a Joint Venture, we would normally fund the project to a Bankable Feasibility stage. We usually require majority control , 70-90% depending upon the status of the project and our firm funds the project through exploration to development. As low as 60% ownership if the project is well advanced and ready to go into production. Outright purchase of a project can also be reviewed if in production or near production where terms are reasonable and payback of the investment is within 2-3 years. We would require a summary of the project that includes geological reports available, samples and drilling results, current tonnage reserves if any and how they arrived at this figure, and also the type of Joint Venture relationship the owner is interested in
