Neelayamari Hair oil is prepared using Neelayamari (Tinctoria) and curry leaves. These are added to pure coconut oil and boiled on a low flame. Neelayamari is famous for hair growth and for removing dandruff, lice and premature greying of hair. It provides blackcolour and beauty to the hair.

This is a kit that enables us to make natural hair oil at home itself. Deodar, Vetiver, (Ramacham), Helicterus isora (Idampiri – Valampiri or ‘East Indian Screw’), Ventilago maderaspatana (‘Vembada’ or Red Creeper), Red Sandal, Soralia corylifolia (Kaarkolari), Liquorice (IrattiMadhuram) etc. which are the ingredients are to be kept in half a litre of coconut oil for forty eight hours, strained and then can be applied to the scalp and hair.
