SFP+ is high speed application of SFP which share the same standard appearance of SFP. They can be used for Datacom and Telecom optical link, offer a small appearance with low power consumption. SFP+ are designed for 8G Optical Fiber Channel, 10G Optical Fiber Channel and 10G Ethernet, furthermore SFP+ application have extended to SONET OC-192, SDH STM-64, OTN G.709, CPRI Wireless, 16G Optical Fiber Channel and newly 32G Optical Fiber Channel.
