The company was established in 1997 as a premium manufacturer of pharmaceutical containers made of neutral glass in India under the name KAISHA Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd. In 2008, it started a cooperation with SCHOTT, an international technology group and one of the worldwide leading manufacturers of pharmaceutical packaging with headquarters in Mainz, Germany. SCHOTT Pharmaceutical Packaging operates under the brandname SCHOTT forma vitrum.
